VegNet Bend is pleased to announce the first annual Bend VegFest, a day-long celebration to promote compassionate living with plant-based foods and other animal-free products, taking place Saturday, May 31, 2014. Bend VegFest will feature nationally recognized speakers, informative exhibitors, a film screening, and delicious samples of vegan food from veg-friendly restaurants and food companies.
We hope you’ll be able to attend, or join us as a Sponsor or Exhibitor this year!!
Bend VegFest will be held at the beautiful Cascade Culinary Institute, on the Central Oregon Community College campus, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., followed by a film screening. We anticipate attendance of over 300.
Cost: We’ve kept it very affordable because we want everyone to be able to attend. $5 for adults, $3 for students, and kids 12 and under are free! That’s for the entire day!
As more and more people are choosing plant-based foods, the demand for this option is increasing on a scale not seen before. Many restaurants and food companies are listening and fulfilling this need. VegNet Bend seeks to showcase these companies to the Central Oregon Community and beyond.
At a local WinterFest event, VegNet Bend handed out over 7,000 samples of plant-based food to rave reviews from an appreciative public, and a recent local public vegan cooking class drew a standing-room-only crowd as dozens of people filled the room.
Bend VegFest is in response to this growing public interest in plant-based foods.
We hope you will take part in this exciting venture. You can help make it happen — become a Sponsor or Exhibitor today!
Note: Free Exhibitor tables at the event are included in all Sponsorship levels!
Donations welcome – all donations are tax-deductible!
$5.00 adults, $3.00 Students, kids 12 and under are FREE.
